Volunteer groups from work, school, church, teams, or clubs can participate in special projects. Groups can adopt a senior living facility for a few hours and provide assistance and companionship.  They may spend a few hours visiting the elders and providing caring friendship, playing board games.  They may help elders maintain a clean, healthy environment in their own homes by performing tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning ceiling fans, scrubbing floors, washing windows and doing other work that is difficult for them.
